Method

You describe the context, the constraints and what you would like to achieve. We ask clarifying questions in writing where anything is ambiguous.

We define what is included, what is explicitly excluded, the expected deliverables and the way progress will be reported.

A quotation is issued with fees, timeline and terms. No work begins and no invoice is issued before the quotation is accepted in writing.

Advice is delivered in a documented form your team can act on internally, followed by a review of open questions.
Engagements
Every engagement takes one of the three shapes below. The format is proposed in the quotation together with the scope, so both sides know what is being agreed.
A bounded review of a defined environment or process, concluded by a written set of findings and recommendations.

Principles
Scope, fees and conditions are agreed in writing before any engagement starts. Nothing is assumed from a conversation alone.
Deliverables are written for the people who will use them, not for a shelf. Recommendations state what to do, in what order, and why.
We do not resell software or hardware. Recommendations are made on technical merit and your constraints only.
If a requirement falls outside what we are equipped to deliver, we say so and decline rather than accept the engagement.
