Method

Four steps, none of them skipped

I

Initial request

You describe the context, the constraints and what you would like to achieve. We ask clarifying questions in writing where anything is ambiguous.

II

Scope definition

We define what is included, what is explicitly excluded, the expected deliverables and the way progress will be reported.

III

Written quotation

A quotation is issued with fees, timeline and terms. No work begins and no invoice is issued before the quotation is accepted in writing.

IV

Delivery & handover

Advice is delivered in a documented form your team can act on internally, followed by a review of open questions.

Engagements

How work is structured

Every engagement takes one of the three shapes below. The format is proposed in the quotation together with the scope, so both sides know what is being agreed.

Assessment

A bounded review of a defined environment or process, concluded by a written set of findings and recommendations.

Fixed scope · Single deliverable

Project advisory

Consulting alongside an internal project team for a defined phase, with agreed checkpoints and documented outputs.

Phase-based · Checkpoint reporting

Ongoing advisory

A recurring allowance of consulting time for organisations without a dedicated in-house IT function.

Recurring · Capped monthly time

Principles

A methodical, quotation-based approach

Written before spoken

Scope, fees and conditions are agreed in writing before any engagement starts. Nothing is assumed from a conversation alone.

Advice you can act on

Deliverables are written for the people who will use them, not for a shelf. Recommendations state what to do, in what order, and why.

Vendor-neutral

We do not resell software or hardware. Recommendations are made on technical merit and your constraints only.

Declining is part of the service

If a requirement falls outside what we are equipped to deliver, we say so and decline rather than accept the engagement.

Who we work with

  • Professional services firms
  • Small and mid-sized businesses
  • Logistics and operations teams
  • Retail and e-commerce operators
  • Non-profit organisations
  • Independent practices

Engagements are conducted under written terms, with clear invoicing and clearly stated cancellation conditions. All correspondence is handled at contact@grgfastauto.com.

Questions

Before you write

How are fees determined?
There is no public price list. Fees depend on the scope, the depth of analysis required and the duration of the engagement, and are stated in a written quotation before acceptance.
Do you work remotely?
Yes. Engagements are conducted remotely by default, with correspondence and deliverables handled in writing by email.
What does a deliverable look like?
Typically a written document: findings, options considered, recommendations with reasoning, and suggested sequencing. The exact format is agreed in the quotation.
Do you implement the recommendations?
Our work is advisory. Where implementation support is requested, it is scoped and quoted separately and only accepted when we are equipped to deliver it.
How do you handle confidential information?
Client information is used solely for the engagement it was provided for, and is handled in line with our published Privacy Policy.
What are the cancellation conditions?
Cancellation and refund conditions are stated in each quotation and summarised in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
